ok, Urban Tuche.

God, as much as I hate what they represent I can't hide the fact that they have some bomb ass clothing, and...*cough* awesome music *cough*....

Lately I've been obsessed with their "Free Music Mondays" Where they release 5-10 tracks on a mixtape and then make it available as a digital mp3 download. I only have about 5 of them so far 'cause honestly some of the music sounds like the taste of vegan food (if you could only imagine that...)

However, the majority of it is definitely something to look into if your tired of the mainstream "I love you, come back to me, I've got money" bullshit that has been plaguing the the radio for decades.

Me personally, I didn't really know what kind of music I absolutely enjoyed all the time but all the signs were there. I've had a playlist on my iTunes called Lina for almost six years and throughout those 6 years artist like Fleetwood Mac, Minus the Bear, Coldplay, Radiohead, is what made up the majority of it. After a while I just started feeling bored and uninspired though 'cause their music just wasn't really doin' it for me anymore. This is probably what it's like for long time U2 fans. I ended up asking myself "if I could possibly get something a little shittier?"

Perfect notes and million dollar recording engineers on your album sure make things sound nice but in the end I just like "real" music and hearing the artist genuinely enjoy what they're doing. The imperfections of a note slightly off pitch or hearing the drummer play a little too fast or too slow adds depth to the song in my opinion. I for one have learned a little lesson from this epiphany I had and my new mixtape "Tom & Susan" will definitely reflect from it.

Anywho, long story short. Download this Mixtape LSTN#7 It's a free download from iTunes and it's AWESOME!!!! Click the pic above!

Like many of you I'm an insomniac that spends most of my night's browsing the internet, playing video games, watching T.V., or all three at the same time. Basically making every effort to die from a heart attack at 36 with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. I thoroughly enjoy discovering new music and I love Hamburger Helper over fries (thanks chris).
